Many years ago, Happy Photo created the Digital Micro Lab (DML) concept as a “processing lab” for digital photos. Today it is the point where images captured by roving photographers, automatic PHOTO-RIDE systems or any other capture/compositing method are viewed, sold and printed.
Our DML range includes assisted terminals as well as fully automated systems for finding, paying for and printing photographs.
The system is sized according to the installation’s workload. A DML installation can support up to 999 photo sources, the same number of sales/printing points and up to 99 composition or print layouts, from 10x15 cm prints to digital downloads and many other formats.
Our staff-assisted photo sales solution is ideal for zoos, water parks, theme and amusement parks, leisure centres and similar venues. It can be integrated into a souvenir/merchandising shop or deployed as a dedicated photo retail area.
The main advantage is that photos can be sold not only as prints but also combined with personalized products such as mugs, key rings, magnets and more, increasing the business opportunity.
